Ports and FO connectors

 What is protocol?
Different types of networking operating systems use different digital languages to control the communication process between the computers. These languages are called Network protocols. Definition: A protocol is a set of rules to govern the data transfer between the devices
Or
In computing, a protocol or communication protocol is a set of rules in which computers communicate with each other. The protocol says what part of the conversation comes at which time. It also says how to end the communication

What is port
There are two types of port one is physical port. that used to connect cables and wires. And the other one is the virtual port
In the case of virtual ports. ... You can have a total of 65,535 TCP Ports and another 65,535 UDP ports. When a program on your computer sends or receives data over the Internet it sends that data to an ip address and a specific port . and in inmternet using these virtual ports only it is possible to identify the proces. Eg... For example, port 80 is used for HTTP traffic and 443 for HTTPS
And in the below picture different connectors are explained

below picture explains about types of fiber optic connection types
And in the below picture explains the connectivity and integration of 24 port st fiber optic patch panel intergration with armoured cable
